Can I Do Better at Achieving My Goals This Month?
I can’t do much worse! (These goals have nothing to do with Medium)
I’m back again with my monthly edition of goals.
Hitting one out of three goals last month was a big accomplishment, and I can’t wait to add it to my resume. I might need to make some small changes if I want to replicate or exceed last month’s success.
I also want to mention that ChatGPT initially put Wile E. Coyote in the photo instead of a random generic one. Getting sued by Warner Bros. while writing a 50-cent article would just be my luck.
Anyway, time to move on to my goals for February.
Goal #1 — Lose One Pound of Fat
I weighed myself yesterday, and I weighed the same as I did a month ago. Staying exactly at 208.8 pounds is almost a miracle, or maybe my scales are broken.
Either way, I’m keeping things realistic by focusing on losing one pound of fat instead of trying to lose four pounds. It will only be Halloween until I reach my long-term weight loss goal!
Goal #2 — Remain Active
The one goal I achieved last month was staying active by working out and walking on my rest days. I’ve been doing this long before I set any of these goals because it makes a big difference in helping me write and stay productive.
Working out is especially important in dealing with all of the negativity around here. I can’t even imagine what this place will be like for the entire month if things stay the same.
Goal #3 — Read Three Pages a Day
I was doing well with this goal for a while, but then things fell apart. I only have 200 pages left in a book that I’ve been trying to finish since 2021. If I keep going at three pages a day, I can finish it sometime in March or April.
I have quite a few books I’m looking forward to reading. Hopefully, I’ll finish that book much sooner than later. Only time will tell to see what happens.
