Kamala’s infamous laughter was mostly a defence mechanism she used whenever she was confronted with tough questions, like being asked if she was a socialist.
As the results rolled in on Wednesday, one thing became clear: voters took national issues very seriously, and they didn’t find her laughter reassuring.
As the election approached, her laughter became an issue both her own supporters and Republicans often chastised her for.
Though she may have intended to ease tension, Kamala’s laughter came across as dismissive, and made every situation cringy and even raised doubts about her grasp of critical issues.
