Do You Prefer to Read Long or Short Articles?

And Why?

Everyone on Medium has a personal schedule for reading the works of other writers on this platform. I suppose that everyone has their preferences regarding which articles they read, including the length of those articles. Since reading is an integral part of the algorithm, which determines earnings here, I wondered what other people do,

I don’t have a set time dedicated to fully reading and commenting on stories. I often read articles when I have a few minutes to spare, such as waiting for a dentist or doctor’s appointment or having my car serviced.

I sometimes read articles later in the evening before I go to bed or if it is a warm evening and I am relaxing on the deck. My reading time also depends on whether I am having sinus problems, which frequently make me nauseous while reading or concentrating on a task. This also affects my writing.

Since my reading time may be divided into several intervals during the day, I like to read as many articles as possible. So, I look for shorter articles that are 2 to 5 minutes long. Of course, the articles must be of interest to me. Unless a longer article seems particularly interesting, I will pass on reading it.
