With the price of tuition on many people’s minds, Harvard University came out and offered free tuition to students if their families make less than a certain amount. This will help many students avoid years of tuition costs.

Harvard College, the undergraduate portion of Harvard University, announced free tuition for families who make less than $200,000 annually.

My daughter has her eyes on attending one of these big-name schools and Harvard was one of them. If she gets in, that’s less money for me to worry about.

Harvard University President Alan M. Garber said in the announcement according to Forbes:

“Putting Harvard within financial reach for more individuals widens the array of backgrounds, experiences, and perspectives that all of our students encounter, fostering their intellectual and personal growth.”

“By bringing people of outstanding promise together to learn with and from one another, we truly realize the tremendous potential of the University.”
