When I started my journey on Linkedin and Medium, I was a bit lost. At first, I did not post much and only reshared other’s work.

I felt I did not have enough to share or distinguish myself from my fellow creators. But after overcoming my hesitancy, I started posting. But it felt disconnected as I did not publish my views or stories.

It was generic content, to say the least. Yes, I have heard that being authentic builds trust and all, but it is a lot more difficult to follow.

So I started creating content around my core values, creativity, and research. These two things made my brand recognizable and trustworthy.

I added a bit of personality in my writing, a little bit of experimentation helped me identify it and build a brand. Storytelling usually works and brings genuine engagement.

On Linkedin, my posts are all about newer tools, experience, or insights on what to avoid while blogging or creating content. Before posting, I comment on posts in my network to establish my voice and professionalism.

It’s important to keep doing these things to attract the right audience and opportunities.

PS: What do you guys do to resonate with your audience?
