Summertime is normally a slow month for readers. This year, I’m trying to break that trend.

For the past four years, I’ve written here, reads tend to drop in the summer. During the pandemic, it may have been the only difference since most people were home and had more free time to read.

In other years, I usually saw a big drop in my numbers.

For June, I took writing seriously. Very serious.

I’m writing an article a day — sometimes two.

Then, I spend a lot of time following up with my readers.

I also check out some other writers to see what they’re writing.

You see, you can follow the trend or you can break the trend.

You can be average, or you can dominate.

This all comes down to you. It’s all about your mindset.

Some writers complain about the algorithm. The changes you see and you want to blame someone. So you blame the platform.

But you have to ask yourself these questions.

  • Are you giving 100%?
  • Are you trying hard?
