I Gave In to My One Weakness in Life
Okay, I only had a few, but I’m not good at counting
One of my goals this year is to lose a little bit of weight.
I’ve been making an effort to keep my calories in check, but every now and then, I have a weak moment or two. I can overlook Oreos, Chips Ahoy, or any other store bought sweet you can name, but I have one hell of a hard time not eating homemade chocolate chip cookies.
So, I gave in to my weakness and ate a few cookies. I didn’t really count, but I think I had maybe seven, but not all at one time. I’m not a total loser with no self-control. I do have standards!
Do I feel guilty about not having dinner but eating cookies instead? Nope. Should you follow my diet? Probably not.
Will I eat more leftover cookies again tomorrow? Yes, but not as much because they don’t taste quite as good as when they are fresh out of the oven. (Now, I sound like I’m some type of cookie expert)
Anyway, I might as well act self-absorbed and give everyone an update on my weight loss goals since I know you all really care. It’s almost as interesting as reading 501 articles about what is going on in the world of Medium lately.
