I Learned Something New Today About Substack

I’m back again with another update on Substack.

Since I can no longer write about the place that starts with an “M,” I’ll continue to spam, sorry, I mean write random updates about things I’ve learned in the world of Substack.

I seem to learn something new each day.

I’m not sure if that means Substack has a huge learning curve, or if I’m just a slow learner. Either way, keep your thoughts to yourself because I have a fragile self-esteem.

Where was I again?

Oh yes, I learned today that you get paid once someone subscribes to your newsletter. Usually, this happens within 48 hours. For some reason, I assumed I would only get paid once a month.

Speaking of paid subscribers, I now have two, which is two more than I ever thought I would get on Substack. Neither one is family, which makes it even more remarkable!

Another thing I learned about Substack is that sharing a link to your article on Notes is a good idea. I haven’t tried it yet, but that’s something that would have been nice to know when I first started out. I guess it’s better late than never.
