I Really Suck at Marketing Myself
I’m not being too obvious, am I?
Finding the motivation to write here isn’t easy these days.
So, I figured I would use this place to help market my Substack. What do I really have to lose? Maybe a few cents and a couple of brain cells.
I don’t want to go on full spam mode and advertise it non-stop, but I figured it wouldn’t hurt to “market” my Substack every week or so. I might gain a free subscriber or two, or even hit the jackpot with a paid subscriber.
I only have one problem. I’m terrible at marketing.
Yes, even with over eight years of experience in the “content marketing” industry. I mean, I’m decent at adding 104 random keywords to an article and throwing in a few links. (By the way, that stopped working in 2010, and I wasn’t even writing back then)
Despite my limitations, I might as well give it my best shot. Hope for the best and expect the worst. Or something like that.
Okay, let me start over and give you my best sales pitch.
I publish one free and one paid post each week on Substack. If you like questionable humor and satire, then you’ll probably be a fan. Instead of lighting your money on fire as a FOM, you can spend $5 a month and gain access to all of my amazing content.
