I’m Going to Write About Nothing

Because apparently, that’s more interesting than sports

I’ve decided to write about nothing today. Why?

That’s because my last two articles on sports flopped harder than most soccer players faking an injury.

One of the things I enjoy about writing is the freedom to write about nearly anything. While writing about anything is fun, not all topics are equal.

One such topic is sports.

Now, it may seem that sports would be popular but that’s not the case. That’s especially true if you are writing to a global audience. At least half the people don’t even know what you are writing about, and others don’t care. I can’t say I blame them.

So, I’m running an experiment. What is the experiment?

I’m literally writing about nothing, but my guess is that it will do better than when I mostly write about sports.

I also don’t feel bad about doing this experiment because I’m almost writing for free.

In the worst-case scenario, you will lose out on 30 seconds of your time or maybe 5 seconds, since some of you are super speed readers. I wish I could read as fast as some of you. You are almost like Sonic the Hedgehog if he were a bookworm.
