I’m Ready for the Election to Be Over!
My one and only political article
I don’t write about politics on Medium. I’m not much of a fan of either party, and these articles always bring people out of the woodwork on both sides.
I obviously did not do any scientific research, but it seems like nine out of 10 Americans are Democrats on Medium, while 8 out of 10 are Republicans where I live in Texas. That’s just my observation.
Both of my parents are Republicans, so I always get to enjoy listening to Fox News in the background whenever I’m visiting or writing an article while at their house. (I hope you can read sarcasm)
Not everyone is or was Republican in my family, as my grandparents on my dad’s side were always Democrats, and so was my uncle. The joke I always tell them is me and Granny will cancel out their vote for Trump because we both voted this year. (the joke is that Granny died back in 2020)
Anyway, I honestly don’t care who you vote for. One of the benefits of being an American is that you can vote for whoever you want. Both candidates are both flawed in different ways.
I think whoever wins Pennsylvania will win the election. If Trump loses Pennsylvania, he will need to win either Wisconsin, Michigan, or Minnesota and one of the states out west, like Nevada or…
