We’re seeing unusual crowds in my city Jamshedpur’s streets, due to the festival of Chhat.

The people buying the vegetables and fruits for the festival are on a mission: buy everything that grows under the sun!

As a result, they’re harmless people with lists.

What makes me anxious, then?

The election makes me anxious

Not the US election, about which all I can say is that if Biden had handed over the reins sooner, Harris would had a better chance. Or maybe it was a foregone conclusion?

However, my anxiety is because of the election for chief minister in Jamshedpur. Campaigning is going on in full swing amongst the Chhat crowds. People are campaigning door-to-door and sticking posters for their candidate.
