Please Don’t Waste Your Time Trying to Humanize AI Writing
I have a way of finding out (no, I’m not saying how)
I’m back again with my weekly update on dealing with AI writers. Actually, I think I write a lot more about this topic than once a week, but that’s just the state of writing on Medium in 2024.
I was here back in 2020, and many people couldn’t even write one sentence without screwing things up. You know, random capitalizations, misplaced commas, and the writing often didn’t make a lot of sense. I’m not exaggerating. Sometimes, I miss those days because now everyone writes perfectly without mistakes.
But then I remember reading all of those smug articles from the people giving out so much self-help advice, and I’m so glad many of those “famous” writers think Medium is dead. Well, it’s only dead because they helped kill it. (I don’t really think Medium is dead)
Seriously, Medium is not perfect, but it’s so much better than what was going on here in 2020. If you were here, you know what I’m talking about. If not, count yourself lucky.
