The number of stories about Medium on Medium is making me really nervous.

How long will the paying public — non-Mediumees — stand for this?

To me, this is a public relations nightmare.

Just last August, it was reported that Medium was doing better than ever and had turned a profit.

Coincidentally, August was the month I started turning a profit on Medium.

I’m not one who usually boasts about their numbers, let alone reveal what they make. But in light of what is happening, I will bore you with the details. Keep in mind that I’ve been at this for nearly five years.

August was the first triple-digit month I’ve had in a very long time. I made $577, making it my best month ever. It was mainly attributable to one story.

September was again fruitful, producing $572 in earnings. Two stories produced in the triple digits, and along with residuals from the story in August, I was a happy camper.

October wasn’t as good as the previous two months, and the earnings were primarily…
