The Last Day of the Publish Everyday Challenge
We made it….Almost!
May is nearly over, which means the publish everyday challenge is finally winding down. I’m ready for a mini-break and possibly a nap that lasts until June 3.
Yes, I kinda-sorta cheated a few times by cross-posting from Substack. But that’s much better than me bursting into flames from creative burnout.
The whole point of this challenge was to boost activity in the publication. Whether you published once or all thirty-one days, it didn’t really matter. The goal was to have fun writing again.
Seriously. You don’t want this place feeling like a job.
I’ll also be putting together a post soon that highlights the most-read articles, most clapped, and whatever other strange metrics I can dig up. It might take me a minute because 650 articles were published in Never Stop Writing this month.
What’s the theme for June?
No more publish-everyday challenges for a while. I promise. June’s theme will be simple: summer stories.
You can write about childhood memories, weird summer jobs, road trips gone wrong, things you love (or hate) about the season, or whatever else. I’ll add each of these stories to a list and then include them in a weekly post.
So, that’s the plan for now.
I hope everyone is having a great time and I want to thank each writer for being part of the publication.
