The Leaves Are Beautiful This Year

Everything is brown and dead…

I took a walk in my parent’s yard to check out the beautiful foliage. Is that even a word? I’ve never typed that word in my life.

Anyway, you can see that death is all around me.

Brown leaves, more brown leaves, and, oh yeah…some more brown leaves!

What happened to the beautiful orange, yellow, and red leaves of fall? Did fall decide not to show up and it’s already winter? I know that’s not true because it still feels warm on most days.

I wish I had a dollar for every time a mosquito has bitten me in the last few days. If you don’t hear from me after a while, well it was nice knowing you.

Alright, enough talk. Here is another beautiful photo I took in my parent’s yard.

If times get tough, I can always start up a yard raking business.

The crazy part is that most of the leaves are still on the tree. Will those leaves eventually turn into nice colors? Well, maybe if the weather ever decides to get cooler.
