Who Says I Can’t Monetize My Diary?

The other day I came across a note where someone said “People don’t pay for diaries.” I’m sure she knows what she is talking about, but I must respectfully disagree with her opinion.

People will pay to read your diary or at least skim it. Reading about day-to-day activities is almost as fun as reading fiction on Medium.

Don’t believe me? Good, I’ll tell you the details of a typical day and I promise you won’t fall asleep. Well, you might but that’s not a bad thing. A lot of people suffer from insomnia, which means I’m actually making a positive impact on the world by writing diary posts.

Sorry, I should really get to the point. I often think I’m still writing at the other place, so I try to stall around for 30 seconds to at least earn a “read” if you know what I mean. If not, sorry I’m just confusing you even more.

Anyway, here is a typical day in my life. (I’ve edited for clarity’s sake, or you really might fall asleep)

Sometime Between 9–10 AM

I roll or fall out of bed and wonder why I stayed up so late the night before. The next step is finding my way to the coffee machine. I also do not want to see or interact with anyone for the next…
