Is there really something special, holy or auspicious about Friday as the Muslims believe?

All days are holy. So is every moment in life.

However, the Muslims are told many a myth. This they believe blindly.

“When Friday comes, the devils go to the markets with their flags, and involve people in their needs and prevent them from the Friday prayer. The angels come early in the morning, sit at the door of the mosque, and record that so-and-so came.. I heard the Apostle of Allah (peace be upon him) say so.” ~Narrated by Hazrat Ali Ibn Abu TaalibAbu [Dawood 1046]

Of course, metaphysically speaking, it’s all mumbo-jumbo.

But then again, the Muslims believe much in such silly things. And akin the above cited superstitious and supercilious beliefs, more such are narrated in both ‘sahi’ (correct) Muslim & ‘sahi’ (authentic) Bukhari hadith:

“On (the day of) Jummah (Friday), is an hour during which Allah gives to a Muslim servant standing in prayer, whatever he asks for.” ~MOHAMMED

And though a Friday is like any other day, yet about the somehow special holiness and the auspiciousness of this day, it is said by the prophet of Islam:

“Whoever.. comes to Jummah (Friday prayer).. will be forgiven for (his sins) between that and the next Friday, and three more days.” [Muslim Hadith: 857]

And lastly, but not the least of the superstitions of Islam, is the following:

“The best day the sun rises over is Friday. On it Allah created Adam. On it, he was made to enter paradise. On it he was expelled from it. And the Last Hour will take place on no other day than Friday.” ~MOHAMMED [As recited by IMAM at-Termezi, a Persian Islamic scholar, and collector of Hadith compilations in Sunni Islam, 824–892 AD]

Thus, a Muslim grows up hearing a lot of mythical assertions.

Unguided unto higher spiritual and metaphysical principles, the common lot of Islamist population grows up more superstitious than the “infidel” next door!

The truth is that whatsoever is, an eternal non-creation is.

That is, this world, our universe, the whole cosmos has existed forever. In one state, or another. In some form, or some other. And no such places as a hell or a heaven, as described by god-men of dark ages, exit as a physical reality. Nor do any devils and angels reside anywhere. Neither does a this or this fancied ‘personal’ god found ‘out there’ by mystics of higher learning.

What is found, is the Allness of Everything.

This Infinite Indivisibility is the ‘One’ in all. Is the All. Call it whatever. Or God.

Thus, for a true seeker of ‘What Is’, each and every little moment is whole. As is everyday as holy as any other day. Since everything is ensconced in ‘That’.

The Absolute of Whatever Be.

God.
