My session for Medium Day is confirmed for 3:30 to 4:00 tomorrow, September 19, 2025. For those of you who attended the presentation when I gave it for MuddyUm, this will be a shortened, but still impactful version.
For those who didn’t attend, this will be a big lick of the ice cream cone of using Mindfulness and Gestalt for overcoming writer’s block and allowing your best ideas to flow.
We often blame fear, laziness, procrastination, and stress for our sudden inability to write or create. What is more likely is negative messages about ourselves and our abilities from our past.
I’m a psychotherapist in private practice, and a lifelong writer. I’ve been published in magazines and newspapers, as well as on Medium, NewsBreak, and the Good Men Project. I’ve written radio, print, and television ads, as well as grant proposals, newsletters, and graduate school papers. I’ve taught Senior High School English, and Advertising, Layout and Design at the University level.
