The human tongue is a powerful organ/part of the body. Proverbs 18:21 says “Death and life are in the power of the tongue: and they that love it shall eat the fruit thereof”.

One of the reasons why God gave us the tongue is to use it to make decrees and to establish the kind of results and outcomes that we desire in life.

Job 22:28 says “Thou shalt also decree a thing, and it shall be established unto thee: and the light shall shine upon thy ways”

And so, we need to beware of the kind of words that comes out of our mouths; as the words, we speak and confess consistently will eventually get established in our lives.

This is why we must never confess negative words irrespective of the negative situations in/around our lives. This is because the more we confess them, the more they get established and tend to continue.

Rather, we should learn to always confess the exact opposites of our negative situations, and our expectations rather than our situations.

As we continue to do that, the negative situations will eventually bow and give way for our positive confessions to manifest, just like darkness always bows and give way for light to shine. Use Your Mouth Wisely.
