Do You Have a Heart of Stone or A Heart of Flesh?
You can receive a new heart and spirit if you have not already done so
If you mix with people
who have a high tolerance
for abuse
you are going to get hurt.
Having zero tolerance
for abuse means
mixing with the right
kind of people.
Abuse comes naturally
to some of the abused
and without healing,
they grow insensitive to others.
They have learned to numb
their feelings
to protect themselves
from further hurt.
But what they don’t realize is
that they have closed
their hearts so much
that the numbness turns to ice.
Their hearts become so hardened
that they cannot love at all.
They are dead to life
and only Christ can save them.
If you are a child of God, you have already received a new heart and a new spirit. But, guard your heart for it is the wellspring of life.
“Above all else, guard your heart, for it is the wellspring of life”
But, if you are reading this and you have hardened your heart due to the blows of life, this may be for you.
You may have lost good people in your life due to your hard heart.
But have you ever considered changing your ways?
Coming back to God?
You can exchange your old heart for a new heart of flesh.
Come back to God and learn to love again.
“I will give you a new heart and put a new spirit in you; I will remove from you your heart of stone and give you a heart of flesh.”
