In 2017, I was diagnosed with an “incurable” autoimmune condition called Crohn’s disease. The doctors said I would need to be on medication for the rest of my life and eventually need surgery to get my colon removed. In addition to Crohn’s, I suffered from depression, anxiety, and addiction.
