“Who do you say that I am?”

Was Jesus’ question to his disciples. There comes a time when we ought to pose this question to ourselves. Just as Jesus understood the importance of understanding what you place your faith in, we also must know truly what it is we preach and live by.

There are many religions. But is Christianity one of them?

No!

Christianity is not a religion. And if you read through this short piece, I’ll show you why.

Christianity is not a religion… There is, however, religion in Christianity. So, therefore, what is Christianity?

In the book of Genesis, we learn that God created the world and everything in it. And after creating the necessities to support life, he created Man. Man stands for Humans. And Adam and Eve were the first humans to walk the earth.

The Bible tells us that, God placed Adam and his wife in a place called, Eden and befriended them. He gave them rulership overall He made. He even said they could name everything He created. And the Bible says, “And whatever Adam called each living creature, that was its name.” [Genesis 2:19]

The purpose of man's existence is to have a relationship with God. It’s why we’re made in His image and likeness.
