Life is funny
in a strange kinda way
Life is funny,
it doesn’t seem to
make sense.
I’m glad I have
my own set of rules,
otherwise, I’d be
condemned.
You can’t expect
anyone to act
the way you want.
They will just do their
own thing and not care
how you respond.
At least we have
choices,
we can take a stand
and say no.
Don’t be like a sheep
without a shepherd.
Freedom is rare
so fight for it
but, learn to fight
without aggression.
Use your voice
and actions instead.
Choose peace
and love,
fight the good fight
and stay
away from those who
are hostile.
You don’t need them,
they have no God.
They don’t know
how to love.
Learn to walk away
from people
who continuously
hurt you.
Forgive them
but move on
and fight the
good fight
of faith.

Forgive them and pray for them. They may change one day but you can’t change them. You can only change yourself.
