When I looked up

I vowed not to look up
The last left me with gloomy
Images of darkest clouds.

At peace
I was with me
Ever since I ceased
From looking up.

I realize a tap
Went on at the gate
Of my heart,
Constant it grew
Killing the tranquil,
Forcing my head up
To behold a dove
With a small branch.
