When you were a kid, how did you imagine your life turning out?

I thought I’d be married with my first kid at 25, a house, a husband and a life full of sunshine.

Funny how things don’t always go to plan. I’m actually glad they didn’t. The twists and turns have made me who I am, and even the less-than-amazing moments have shaped me into someone I’m proud of.

If you ever catch yourself wondering how on earth you ended up here — not physically (bed, sofa, train, car — hopefully not while driving!) but emotionally, spiritually, existentially — you’re not alone.

Let’s face it, most of our days are mundane. Wake up, brush teeth, gulp coffee, commute, work, go home, eat, sleep. Rinse and repeat. We’re hamsters on a wheel, and it’s exhausting.

Not sweeping lifestyle changes — just small habits that make life a bit brighter.
