Please Stop ‘Embarking’: A Writer’s Plea to Social Media
I am so tired — Help!
Have people not noticed this yet or is it only us writers who pay attention to this?
I mean, its not a pattern that my third eye saw, nor was it invisible before, right?!
Every time I read a post on LinkedIn, an article on Medium, or a tweet on Twitter, somebody is definitely embarking on their new journey.
I mean how can millions of people embark on their new journey and announce their embarkment on social media almost every single day?
This is so tiring.
Are the words in the dictionary losing their charm, or is it our intelligence that is falling below the average level every single day?
Why can’t we simply start a new journey or just begin with the dawn!
Why do we have to embark?
Wait…my dog is barking. I gotta go now.
Let me embark on the journey to clean its poop!
