The Phantom Shackles: You are free Indeed

Conditioned Limits

From a very young age, a baby elephant is tied by a heavy chain to a strong tree. Despite its efforts to break free, the chain and the tree hold firm, and the elephant learns over time that struggling is futile. As the elephant grows into a massive, strong adult, capable of breaking the chain with ease, it no longer attempts to escape because it has internalized the belief that it cannot. The elephant, despite being physically freed from its chains, remains bound by the mental shackles formed by past experiences.

Freedom may feel foreign, initially. Feeling your wrists for the first time, without the shackles, with the ability to walk the confines of your mind without borders or chains. Breathe in the most beautiful truth; you are not the pain you have been carrying.

Patterns of the Past

Far too often, we take on the embodiment of the experiences, projections, opinions, things that were said toward/about us as we internalize the imprints. These imprints are words and actions which carry an energetic weight. As your subconscious interprets data, you are constantly making connections within the mind based on previous experiences. The issue arises when the connections within our mind are outdated and become detrimental to our well-being. The self-imposed limitations that we continue to live with due to past conditioning, creates resistence through the limiting beliefs obstructing our highest potential.

The accumulation of thought patterns become behavioral patterns which becomes the signature of who you are [within] and what you reflect [without]. The idea and feelings of oppressive limitations and boundaries are constructed within the mind. This system is structured to benefit off your distorted self-image, you have been beaten, bruised battered into compliance, following the patterns of this world. This system pokes and magnifies your shortcomings as it also creates the solutions for the very problems it create, the bridge between both realities is the amount of profit being made.

The most powerful action you can take today is to take back the power of your mind. Freely roam the confines of your mind without the terrors of confronting the shadows of the mind. The shadows are not there to hurt you, they are there to offer liberating wisdom, for they are aspects of you that are bound by illusion. Only you can set your shadows free by facing them, shedding the light of understanding, and loving yourself into an integrated being.

This allows you to realize that those fear-based thoughts that keep you in a cycle of exasperation and despair are actually weightless beliefs condensed with a fog of confusion, veiled by fear. Recognizing that there is no reason to fear anything, for you are a magnificent soul carrying a human body, not a human being carrying a soul.

The limits exists because you allow them to, and as you allow them to, they only condense and grow. Your attention, your perception is what brings things to life. Nothing in your life exists that is not within your mind, therefore the barriers you confront in your waking reality is because there is a mental barrier within. These barriers are not yours, they are not your thoughts, your struggles, and your limits. You have been influenced on a very subtle level, it is a dangerous game.

When compared to the genuine inner workings of the mind, face worth means nothing. For that is where the true reality happens, except you have been asleep to this truth as you are too busy crying in defeat to realize that you are not fighting against that failure, that person, that rejection; you are fighting against things unseen, immaterial influences that have a stronghold over your mind and free-will.

Marrying Thoughts

There is not one thing binding you, for all of this is only a product of your inner-workings, the movie script that plays out in your mind. Your inner-dialogue, it is between you and the entity of thought you feed. You remember the little angel devil on the shoulders of your favorite cartoons? Those are the potential timelines, and inner guidance that we must astutely recognize. Which voice are you feeding? The easiest path is the lower train of thoughts, the old stories that have led you to this very moment, this old path will not lead you anywhere new. You will continuously hit the mental wall of limit that will not permit you to expand beyond the known. The path of righteousness is for the violent souls who are ready to conquer the lands of their minds.

The pain we experience emotionally, and often physically comes from the quality of thoughts we produce — cognitive dissonance often occurs in personal and everyday scenarios where beliefs or behaviors are in conflict. Marrying opposing thoughts to neutralize cognitive dissonance involves finding a way to reconcile two seemingly contradictory ideas or beliefs. This process often leads to a synthesis that can reduce the psychological discomfort caused by holding conflicting views.

An example of the loop of pain cognitive dissonance can cause:
Belief: You are meant for happiness, success, and optimal health
Behavior: You often find yourself wallowing in deep despair due to your financial, professional, academic, relational, and personal insecurities
Cognitive Dissonance: The discomfort arises because your behavior (limits, victimhood, helplessness) clashes with your belief of who you dream yourself to be.
Resolution: You might resolve this by allowing yourself to build your confidence, managing your day to day tasks to structure maximize your mental, Spiritual and physical health. As you take tangible steps to minimize the distortions of the mind, you incorporate balance and reducing the dissonance

You are a wild, free and untethered soul, yet you are fearful of the potentiality. You can be both, but there is only one truth to you and that is a version of you without the fear. Allow yourself to push the pedal on your potential, without the fear of limitations. Practice freedom as you neutralize the conflicting thoughts by marrying them together. This dissipates the cognitive dissonance within you that is causing your system’s malfunction. There is not one thought that is out of your scope of intelligence, you are the author of your thoughts, after all. Realize the freedom that comes with being a creator, awaken to the essence within your core, behind the smoke and mirrors of this constructed personality is the essence of your reality.

Freedom is your gift, and it is yours for the taking. Take back your mind, take it violently and tenaciously; guard it as if your life depended on it, because it truly does.

You are free, my dear — you have always been free.
