To Be Or Not To Be

It’s Not Really A Question… is it?

It is human instinct to be afraid of death. Or, more accurately, it is an instinct of the ego to want to not die. To self-preserve… to preserve the self.

But… what if dying is the real answer to living.

What if to really live you must die. Or better put, what if it’s a dance… a balance… and to experience it fully you must dance the dance.

You must be living while you are dead. Makes sense… no?

TO BE

We are here to be. To do and to live… to experience and to explore.

The ego is not an accident. It is not a flaw.

It is a looking-glass. It is the aparture through which Oneself sees itself.

Without the ego… without the self, there is NOTHING.

And there can’t just be nothing. There is Everything.

There is us… there is the sky, and the stars. There is things to do, places to go and beauty to experience.

So to be… we must be.

TO NOT BE

This is the interesting part.

Because to really be we must take time to not be. We must remember that WE ARE NOT.

That our True Self is NOT. That Consciousness is Nothing.

Not a thing.

So the things are really illusions… lies. And the ego is the biggest of them. The biggest lie.

It is not who I am. Who I am is not a thing.

Who I am ISN’T.

So this way to be… we must really Not Be.

To Be and To Not Be

So you see, it really is a dance. A balance.

Being and not being… Two sides of a coin.

Being a self and being no-self… two halves of a whole. Living and and not living end up being dance partners. A package deal.

So to be or not to be… is it really a question?

Because to be or not to be assumes you have only one option. Perhaps the trick is to realize that you can do both. That you should do both.

Perhaps the wisdom is to be and to not be at the same time.
