My mind talks to me all the time.
It’s yammer, yammer, yammer is a constant commentary on what’s going on around me, 24/7. Responding to my environment, passing judgments, saying yay or nay to everything night and day.
Most of the time, I tune it out or turn it down, so I can focus on something specific. Write this article. Talk to my cousin. Or do a walking meditation.
And maybe because I let it play, it rises to the occasion and performs well.
But what about my soul?
What if I want to hear from her?
Most of the time she’s quiet.
But like my heart, she may see or hear something that moves her deeply. How does she get my attention?
Since she’s Divinely connected and inspired, she has a variety of ways. Sometimes through music. Other times with poetry. Or maybe the feel of a breeze on my cheek, the warmth of a hug from my niece.
