Some of the very best years of my life have been spent with animals. I had a special cat when I was a child, Isadora, Izzy for short, she was extremely nurturing like a nanny cat. When I was an adult, I had my first dog. This opened up a whole new world for me.
One of the very first things I learned was how handy dogs are. They clean up any food you spill. They bark and scare people off making you feel safe. They always want to be with you, even when you leave the house.
The bonds we form with them are undeniable, and life-changing.
