Why the Bleep Did We Incarnate Now?

I often talk to my guides daily. I work with them in my writing, channeling, and readings. I connect with them for myself as well, the things I’m going through personally, especially lately.
We are living in difficult times and we all need more guidance now. One of the consistent answers I get from my guides is a reminder that we chose to live during these times.
Before we were born we decided to incarnate again and we decided when we would do this. What I want to know is why this time was appealing to all of us.
As we in America watch a lunatic fringe mentality take center stage, the stark contrast between young souls and old souls has never been made more apparent.
Why come now?
