Modern Sari: From Street Style To Red Carpet Dresses
My visit to ‘The Offbeat Sari’ exhibition at the Design Museum (London) Part 2
In the last article, we focused on the different draping styles of Sari.
This time, we will explore a series of new-look Saris by contemporary designers. Fashion & design enthusiasts and South Asian lovers will definitely want to take a look. There’s even a Sari that incorporates a Japanese technique…!!
Isn’t this sight already amazing? Let’s take a closer look.

They are also lightweight and easy to wear. This photograph shows two silk Saris from the famous brand ‘Raw Mango’. These colours are bold and captivating.
