Launched in July 2024, New East is a publication focusing on Asian art and culture and the joy and insights they provide.
Unfortunately, accurate information on Asian cultures is still limited in the English-language media. Therefore, New East strives to provide quality articles written by knowledgeable and passionate writers.
The following details the writers and articles we are looking for, so please read on if you are interested in joining us.
Requirements for writers
- Be a paying Medium member
- Have an Asian heritage or a strong interest in Asia
- Can write articles in good English (no use of AI is allowed other than for spelling and grammar checking)
- Have written in-depth articles on Asian art and culture in the past
- Willing to work with editors and consider revisions if requested
