Looking around for layout guidelines / design ideas about how to break up my available to-be-fenced pasture area into rotational grazing paddocks. I haven’t found the answer but here are some interesting items worth looking at in this research.

Everyone I read says you must put the gates in the corners of your paddocks, as animals tend to group up in corners, and driving them a gate in a different spot will be much harder. Water access is of course the other big thing to consider, as well as having some shelter/shade areas available. I’m also reading that it’s best to keep animals off a paddock for 21 days to break the pest regeneration cycle — though that time span probably depends on which animals, which forages, etc.
