Bar-codes Instead of Passwords

Passwords are like social security numbers that you have to remember every time you log into a website. It can get very frustrating to have to remember so many. Sometimes a site may not let you in after typing the right password. Sometimes you have to change your password, and keep it updated. Trying to remember so many passwords for everything we do is too much.

What if everyone could be recognized to log in by a particular bar-code from their computer? There could be a bar-code from using your mouse and keyboard. When you log in to type your name to join a website, you could be recognized by the pointer of your mouse because of a particular bar-code. In order for someone else to be identified as you, they would have to have that particular keyboard and mouse with a certain bar-code number. You wouldn’t need to scan or type in the bar-code number, and the number wouldn’t have to be visible. If that could be made possible, we wouldn’t need to remember passwords, and our bar-code number wouldn’t have to be made known to anyone. When you type your name into a website, the owner of the site would only be able to recognize you by your user name and name. Even they wouldn’t have to worry about passwords.
