Writers Like to Write but Readers Don’t Always Read

You may be getting more page views than people actually reading your articles. Why? There are so many people that really don’t read. Sometimes I find myself skimming through the longer articles. Not every paragraph holds my attention. I just want to get to the point. When I write my articles, I think of the reader. When I write, I try to get to the point, and I try not to make articles entirely too long. I also like to write about things I think readers would be interested in reading. It’s not always an easy task.

How Should Writers Get Paid?

When it comes to freelance article writing, most of the time you may get paid by pageviews. However, just because your article is viewed does not mean it has been read. It also could mean that only half of your article was read. Then how should writers get paid? Well, freelance writers don’t get paid much to begin with. So I believe that writers should get paid by how they help make the publishing service popular. You the writer is helping the service to draw a crowd to the sites that you write for. I think writers should get a set pay. I also think that writers should have some kind of pension plan in writing. Writers need to make a living too for their good work.
