Lord Shiva and Famliy!

There is a story in Hinduism mythology if you got an ear to listen (you only need one, the one in the Middle). You see/hear, we call it the โ€œThird Eyeโ€. God has blessed with both the โ€œoneโ€ ear you โ€˜needโ€ and the โ€œoneโ€ eye you โ€œwantโ€ which also is in your brain. It is called โ€œWisdomโ€ until you โ€œknowโ€ eventually.

The story goes to Lord Shiva giving a task to his Sons. Vinayaka, who is Lord Ganesh, the protector of all protectors and Lord Muruga, who is the love of Godess Parvati. Godess Parvati is the Hindu goddess of power, energy, nourishment, harmony, love, beauty, devotion, and motherhood.

In some turn of events, both the Sons of Shiva are presented with a challenge that requires them to win a fruit, the Mango. It is a stone fruit. The saga started because the children refused to share it but wanted the fruit for themselves. Hence, the contest. It will be a race: the first of the two children to run three times around the world will win the precious mango. The two children plan their own ways of securing the โ€œpreciousโ€ fruit.

Little Ganesh saw himself doomed. How could he, with his small legs, compete in speed with his brother Kartikeya, who was so agile, slender, and capable of riding that swift peacock? Ganesh has begun to execute his path of securing the โ€œpreciousโ€ fruit.

Kartikeya set off as fast as the wind to quickly complete three laps around the world and return home. When he returned he found his parents and his brother Ganesh holding the mango. Stunned by this, as he thought he had victory in his pocket, he exclaimed: โ€œHow did Ganesha win the fruit?โ€.

โ€œYou see Kartikeya,โ€ his mother Parvati answered him, โ€œwhile you were running swiftly around the world, Ganesha completed three small laps around me and your father Shiva, because we represent the whole world, for him.โ€ The fruit was called โ€œWisdomโ€. In the end, all of them were right.

We either โ€œseeโ€ what is in front of us or โ€œknowโ€ what is all around us. You need both of your โ€œearโ€ and โ€œeyeโ€ to comprehend this. One can take either of the paths, but will always end in Thee.

I was born Mahendra ๐Ÿฉต and named Vinoth. Shiva is my Teacher!
