The chart pictured above was made with Datawrapper, using data collected by Google Trends. The graph shows the changing popularity of 4 of the top podcasts in America right now, throughout the month of February, according to Apple Podcasts. The four podcasts (in order of most to least popular) are: Mommy Doomsday, Crime Junkie, Dateline NBC, and The Bible in a Year.

Mommy Doomsday, which is currently the most popular podcast in America, actually had the smallest average between all four podcasts. It wasn’t searched for at all until February 12th, meaning that it must be a newer-made podcast. Crime Junkie was the most popular overall in February, with its rank being surpassed only on February 6th by Dateline NBC.

Shown above is the results of two different tests compared to each other. If you were shown only the scores of the test, you would more than likely think that 25.6 out of 32 was a higher score than 160 out of 200. The chart above helps show how graphics help us understand how statistics work better than digits.

Shown above is a chart compared NFL players Drew Brees and Josh Rosen in 2018. Both were statistically shown as the best and worst quarterbacks of that year. However, it is show that Josh Rosen was marginally better than Drew Brees.

The chart above shows the growth and availability in jobs ranging from 1990 to 2017. The first and smallest recession occurred from 1990 to 1991. The largest recession, occurring between 2008 and 2009, was a loss of 6,805,000 jobs.
