Design or Art ?
What is the difference between Art and Design? The element that separates an art and design is been discussed from a longer time. Art can act like a design and design can be felt like an art. We cannot generally call it as an art or design until we know about the intention behind the artist or designer while making it and how its been expressed. This confusion happens only with few types of designs which are more similar to an art may be with its presentation or appearance to the audience and also the art which does some sort of function which make it more similar to a design. This is one perspective. Towards any subject, there are different perspectives and opinions from people. It is all about the mind which judges it. We can see through different areas such as Graphic, Furniture, Space, Product etc. In every field there will be some unique designs which is been felt more like an art piece.
If someone really need to find the exact meaning of art and design, they should run behind the concept from the person who made it, his perspectives, intension of making it, considerations, representation of. Thoughts etc. It is an interesting subject to think about.
