The growing number of passwords computer users need to remember to conduct their lives is leading to a target for our ire — password rage.
A third of people now admit to having grown angry after struggling to remember login details, according to a new survey.
Many say the frustration at forgetting a login has driven them to crying, screaming, swearing and even banging their head on the desk.
Many people would agree. The password has become a monkey on our digital backs — an essential key to our many devices and accounts, but increasingly a source of exasperation and insecurity. So lets just have a look how they evolved and what will be the future of authentication.
