HEADS UP

Happy New Moon in Aquarius! This cycle is an opportunity to break out of our comfort zone and accept the wild unknown among us all. Aquarius energy is free-thinking, rebellious, and unconventional, so this Moon cycle will have us embracing our uniqueness and finding those with the same rarities. Living authentically has strong Aquarian vibes granting us the gift of being completely original in mind, body, and spirit. Aquarius gives us the courage and bravery to vibrate at our highest potential.

The Aquarius New Moon holds strong elemental air energy which will inspire new ways of thinking, ideas, perspectives, and a fresh mind. This also allows us to clear our mind, helping us to take a break from the endless chatter, if we seek it. Big aha moments can come through this cycle so pay attention to your thoughts and where they go to see the openings for newness come through. The Aquarian way to freedom is through the path of well-ordered thinking and living. To do this, radical change is needed within and around us.

Aquarius by Yuhon

Astrologers debate when we entered the Age of Aquarius, from the previous Age of Pisces, but irregardless, we are now making fast headway into activating the archetypes that go with our new age we find ourselves in. These include equality, social change, technological advances, and a move from individualism to community. This New Moon moves us quickly along these paths.

This New Moon also begins the Year of the Water Tiger in the Chinese zodiac. According to Chinese philosophy, in 2022 the energy of the Tiger will be about breaking away from the old and inviting in the new, while building foundations that are more aligned with who we are becoming. The Water Tiger energy provides us strength and bravery to overcome negative emotions as we all collectively embrace the uncertainty of our future together.

Due to Venus no longer retrograding, this is an excellent New Moon to express our feelings through art and poetry since talking them through is difficult with our divided society. Venus’ connection with the Aquarian New Moon wants us to live from our hearts and see how we’re all connected. Our current task is to change our worldview to that of unity instead of separation and division.

The planet Saturn is very close to this Aquarius New Moon so a reality check may be coming our way, but not without reward. If conflict arises anywhere in your life, heed the signs, and you will be pleasantly surprised. With rule-making Saturn greatly influencing the rule-breaking nature of this Aquarius New Moon, it’s the best time to examine the flaws in our personal beliefs and willingly revolutionize our habits. We are being called to stop listening outside ourselves and turn within to listen to our own instincts, intuition, and critical thinking to address our current situations.

As always, respect everyone as we all play a part within our human experience,

HOW TO MAKE A NEW MOON LIST:

Gather paper and a pen, pencil, marker or other type of writing tool.

Review the focus areas for this month and begin to think about how they apply to your personal and professional life.

Write a list of what your hopes, dreams, goals, priorities, wishes, and prayers are for that moment. Typically no more than 10 is recommended. Be very specific, or extremely vague.

Review last month’s list and revise them on this month’s list, if necessary.

Place your notes somewhere safe and special to you. Some tape them to a window, under a lit candle, or leave them in their notebooks on their desks. Create the space that works for you. Leave it there all month until the next New Moon.

Allow and have faith in the power of inter-connectedness in our universe to manifest your list.
