Happy New Moon Solar Eclipse in Taurus! This is the first Eclipse of the year. Taurus is represented by the bull, the angry and strong volcanic explosions of love for life. There is going to be explosive energy of change all around us personally and collectively. This Eclipse will activate changes that have been awaiting on the horizon, whether we are ready for it, or not. With this Solar Eclipse New Moon conjunct the planet Uranus, we are to expect the unexpected for the next several months. Eclipses can shake things up, but it places us where we need to be, even if we at first doubt it. Uranus is known for bringing surprises, so grounding ourselves will help us navigate the chaos and help us to move forward in a calm way. Walk on grass, meditate with a favorite crystal, or spend some time in nature.

We are being called to dramatically consider what is holding us back from evolution and growth. This New Moon Eclipse energy can, and will, liberate us. Sometimes we need a breakdown before we can have a breakthrough. Sometimes breakthroughs come after long conscious effort. Regardless of how it works out for you, something is breaking through. Learn to work consciously with this energy, as it can lead to chaos or wild success.

Taurus is a sign of the Earth element, helping us to work with practical and tangible ways to achieve our goals. Any intuitive pushes you get in the next several weeks are great opportunities to anchor down your goals and really embody them into our daily lives. This pagan holiday celebrates the green force alive and awakened on Earth, thanks to the Sun and the fertile ground working together to produce value and worth. Awaken to the beauty and abundance of life all around us. Together, the Taurus New Moon and Beltane urges us to take notice of what arises around us as the Sun and Earth co-create as God and Goddess. Gather paper and a pen, pencil, marker or other type of writing tool.

Review the focus areas for this month and begin to think about how they apply to your personal and professional life.

Write a list of what your hopes, dreams, goals, priorities, wishes, and prayers are for that moment. Typically no more than 10 is recommended. Be very specific, or extremely vague.

Review last month’s list and revise them on this month’s list, if necessary.

Place your notes somewhere safe and special to you. Some tape them to a window, under a lit candle, or leave them in their notebooks on their desks. Create the space that works for you. Leave it there all month until the next New Moon.

Allow and have faith in the power of inter-connectedness in our universe to manifest your list.
