Hi!

I’m Olga, co-founder of la la sports, multi-athlete and super-sports lover.

Any good story should always start from the beginning, so that’s why I consider the very best place to start my story is a 5th-grade class and a dream of running as fast as the wind.

I was deeply in love with running, however, the track and field athletics club was only accepting professionals who were chosen at the age of 6. At 11, I was already too old. So, with my time to make it in track and field has already expired, I decided to apply my passion to skateboarding. I always thought skateboard was so rad and I once again dreamed about joining these cool guys and girls on their boards, learning new tricks and riding all day long. But again, this community was very closed to outsiders.

Years passed, I was 27 and I still dreamt about finding a sport for myself — some awesome activity that would be fun to do and easy to join.

One day, I subscribed to the high diving course and that was finally it! I found myself in the right place and the feeling was fantastic! I started diving and in the next 3 amazing years came camps, competitions and a whole lot of new friends. Now I can do 1.5 somersaults from the 5m platform and that’s even more than I could have ever imagined!

Soon, I decided to explore other sports and found artistic gymnastics — a tough but rewarding activity. Next came fencing — fascinating and complex — roller skating, BMXing and even flying trapeze. I’ve tried all and loved all.

Finally, I bought a skateboard, learned to ollie, and visited a training session at a track and field club where I spent 2 hours running and jumping and having the best time of my life. And the day after, with my very best friend and diving partner Zhenya, I started a startup and called it la la sports. Put simply, it’s for people who are, like us, looking for cool activities and want to explore themselves and the world around them, from all perspectives, through sports and traveling, and who see no boundaries or borders. I invite you to join us at lalasports.
