A self-reflection journal is a place where you write down all the good as well as bad events happening in your life; it basically serves a purpose of knowing where you have been and why you are feeling the way you felt today. It will help you to know what events happened in your life and your reaction to it. It’s like looking at you in the mirror.

Now what can you do to start a self-reflection journal?

First, make sure you have a dedicated notebook or diary handy, choose a pen of your choice, and start Journaling in a quiet place, preferably at night.

Ask yourself the following question and write down the most honest and appropriate answer you have.

1. What does your situation looks like today?

2. What goal you want to accomplish?

3. Do you share your feelings with other; if not why you feel to keep it at yourself?

4. What are things you are grateful for?

5. Write about the life lessons you’ve learnt this week.

6. What family issues you are facing right now?

7. What makes you different from others?

8. What are the thoughts which are bothering you?

9. What are the five fears you have?

10. What do you love about yourself the most?

By writing the answers to the above written questions; you will become better aware of yourself and it’ll help your mind to de-clutter, which in turn will open the doors for new perspectives.

Happy Journaling!
