Something strange happened today
Today is the day that I doubled my views. I made with this article the views that I made in 3 weeks of posting articles on medium.
What is happening?
I opened Medium this morning and saw that the article I posted yesterday started to grow in views, it was 200, 300, 400. At first, I was in shock I thought maybe Medium forwarded my article or something like that. The thing is that the number of reads didn’t grow… not even 1 read.
Instantly I thought, ok this is a bug, these are not real views. And, I still don’t know what happened, I got 1.2k views in 2 hours I believe, but only 1 read.
I just can’t understand what happened, I guess is just a bug and no view is real. I don’t think from 1.2k people only 1 to press on the article. I have articles with 2 views and 2 reads so, this is strange.
Update
This is a day after I got the views. My earning are $0.01 for only 1 read. The 1.2k views still are a mystery, don’t know if they are legit views or just a bug that happened.
