I even canceled my Medium subscription. But April has been my first month with 1,000 views.

In April 2023, I had barely 100 views. And since then, I passed the 250 views only a few months.

Here’s what I learned this year that helped me 10x my views.

My trick to find time to write: deadlines

I started posting semi-regularly on Medium in March 2023. But after the first couple of months, I lost the initial excitement.

I didn’t need to generate real money from my articles. I had a few regular clients that paid for my writing and email marketing services. After completing all the paid work for them, I was too tired to write a lot for Medium. And without a regular stream of new articles, my growth was slow.

I didn’t stop to write because:

1. It’s a challenge.
2. I enjoy creating content.
