Calendly Is Dying — Here’s Why
How switching improved my client experience
Why I switched from Calendly to Cal.com—and why it’s been one of my best decisions.
Don’t get me wrong. Calendly is a great tool.
I’ve been using it for almost 1.5 years and never thought that there was an alternative that would make the call-booking process with clients even easier.
But I’m a person who loves to try something new all the time and who believes in the power of small startups. Rather than being conservative and using one tool throughout your life, I’m always open to new experiences.
And that’s when I wanted to try using Cal.com instead of Calendly, and it literally changed the way I work with clients now.
Reminders
While being on Calendly, I could’ve had 10 call bookings for this week and only 6 of them would really show up to the call. It means that the bounce rate was around 40% which is definitely not good.
The reasons are different. Sometimes clients can forget, sometimes something unexpected can come up, and so on. So, there’s only one solution — set up the reminders so they won’t miss it or reschedule it.
