Thousands of people walk the Camino de Santiago every year, with the aim of making a pilgrimage to the Cathedral of Santiago de Compostela, in Spain. It is said that there are as many paths as there are pilgrims, this year I have done the path, and I am going to tell you about my experience.

Although there are as many paths as there are pilgrims, I believe they are all unique for the same reasons: coexistence with other pilgrims, the gastronomy, the landscapes we travel through and their climate.

Solitude and coexistence

Although there will be times for everything, most of the time the path will be walked alone. This will give the pilgrim a lot of time alone and rethink everything about his life. If you also do the Camino Francés, the stages between Parlencia and Burgos are perfect for this. Its monotonous paths will push you to search for the lost ties of your person.

However, upon arrival at the hostels you will meet the rest of the pilgrims, and you will also have time to spend time with them. There you will find pilgrims coming from all over the world, with different thoughts and lives, who will remove all those internal thoughts about your life.
