Eye of Your Storm

I will see you through to sunrise

I fear I will be unable to catch my breath
In this brief eye of your storm.
I know I must stay brave enough to weather it
and to bring you through it too.
Night falls fast upon us
along with your cloak of depression.
I will see you through to sunrise again
whether you are able to feel its beauty
or not.
